A person died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at an Artesia shooting range, authorities said Saturday.
The shooting was reported at 10 p.m. Friday at Insight Shooting Range, at 17020 Alburtis Ave., according to a watch commander at the sheriff’s Lakewood Station.
The shooting was being investigated as a suicide, the watch commander said.
