A fire to a large motorhome on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Lake View Terrace involving a boat with exploding propane tanks was knocked down in 27 minutes by 22 firefighters Monday evening.
Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters responded to the freeway near the Osborne Street off-ramp at 8:42 p.m and found the motorhome fully involved with fire, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Additional resources were requested by firefighters. The California Highway Patrol temporarily closed the eastbound Foothill Freeway at Osborne Street.
There were no injuries reported.
