Elton John snubs Trump inauguration ‘gay rights’ guy

Donald Trump wants to “drain the swamp” in Washington, but he won’t have help from the singer of “Crocodile Rock.”

Despite an inauguration official’s announcement that the famed gay pop star would be part of the Trump festivities, Elton John says the idea is simply and totally false.

Anthony Scaramucci — a vice chair of Trump’s presidential inaugural committee — told BBC News that “Elton John is going to be doing our concert on the [National] Mall for the inauguration.”

CNN also quoted him as saying: “This will be the first American president in U.S. history that enters the White House with a pro-gay rights stance.”

But John’s spokeswoman Fran Curtis wrote CNN Wednesday: “He will NOT be performing at Trump’s Inauguration!”
