Firefighters extinguished three big-rig fires Sunday at an auto yard in Wilmington.
Firefighters dispatched to 500 N. Quay Ave. at 10:12 a.m. had the bulk of the blazes knocked down at 10:39 a.m., said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“(Firefighters) will continue to overhaul the vehicles,” Stewart added.
No injuries were reported and no structures were threatened.
The cause of the fires was under investigation.
