A Fullerton junior high school teacher was arrested Thursday on suspicion of committing lewd acts with a 14-year-old boy, police said.
Shauna Sims, 35, of Brea, was arrested by detectives about 11 a.m. at Parks Junior High School, where she is employed as a teacher, said Brea police Lt. Darrin Devereux.
The alleged victim is not a student at that school, he said.
“Detectives have been investigating a report that Sims had been involved in a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy,” Devereux said, adding that investigators “will be working to see if there are any other victims.”
Sims was booked at the Brea City Jail and was released after posting a $50,000 bond, Devereux said.
