Riverside County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday were investigating the death of an adult female whose body was found near Lake Hills.
The Jurupa Valley sheriff’s station received a call at around 8:50 a.m. Saturday reporting a dead body in the area of McCallister and El Sobrante in the unincorporated city of Lake Hills.
According to officials, hunters in the area discovered the body and reported it immediately. Sheriff’s deputies secured the area and began their investigation shortly thereafter.
The cause of death and the identity of the victim are not yet known.
