A two-year-old girl was seriously injured in a house fire in Riverside Sunday.
The fire was reported at 11:07 a.m. in the 3900 block of Van Buren Boulevard, according to the Riverside City Fire Department.
The toddler was taken to a hospital in critical condition, fire officials said.
The blaze also burned at least one room in the home and its contents, according to Battalion Chief Bruce Vanderhorst.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
