A big rig caught fire on Interstate 10 west of Blythe Monday, shutting down all eastbound lanes but causing no injuries.
The fire was reported at 8:05 a.m. west of the Mesa Drive off-ramp, near the unincorporated community of Mesa Verde, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The big rig was reportedly fully engulfed, the CHP said.
A SigAlert was issued shortly after the incident.
