Authorities Wednesday identified a Nevada man who was killed in a shooting in the unincorporated Willowbrook area of Los Angeles County that left another man critically wounded.
The suspect in the shooting that occurred about 1:50 a.m. Sunday at 124th and San Pedro streets remains at large, according to Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
James Warren, 33, of Las Vegas, died at scene, according to the coroner’s office. The hospitalized victim, whose name was not released, was expected to survive, authorities said.
The suspect fled the scene in a white vehicle, but no physical description of the shooter was released.
Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to call them at 323-890-5500.
