Man shot to death while driving in South Los Angeles

A man in his 20s was shot to death Monday morning while driving his car in South Los Angeles, police said.

The shooting occurred at 52nd Street and Budlong Avenue around 1 a.m., said Los Angeles Police Sgt. Rudy Alaniz.

The victim’s car crashed into parked cars before it came to rest, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

No suspects were in custody early Monday morning, and the sergeant did not have a suspect description.
