Fire damaged a residence in Compton Monday.
Firefighters sent to the 1600 block of Pine Street at 6:51 a.m. extinguished the flames within about a half hour, according to a fire dispatcher. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
