A vote center opened Saturday for this month’s Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District Special Election.
The center is located at the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Headquarters at 12400 Imperial Highway in Norwalk, according to Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean Logan.
It will remain open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. leading up to the July 20 election for in-person voting or to drop off completed Vote by Mail ballots.
The Vote Center will follow public health guidelines related to COVID-19.
Voters will fill the remainder of the unexpired terms for two at-large seats on the seven-member board. Longtime board member Darryl Adams died on Dec. 22, and board member Jude Cazares resigned because he moved out of the district.
