A mountain biker in his 50s with severe injuries to his lower body was airlifted to a hospital from Mulholland Drive in Tarzana Tuesday.
Firefighters responded at approximately 5:10 p.m. Tuesday to after receiving reports of an injured man, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters located the man who was with four people, conducted a hoist rescue operation, and medically assessed him before taking him to a hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
