A man and his pregnant wife were found dead Friday inside a Westwood home in a case being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.
Officers responded to a shooting call about 5:45 a.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Holmby Avenue, near Wellworth Avenue, just west of the Los Angeles Country Club, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police located the deceased man and woman inside a two-story home at that location, an officer said.
A description of the man and woman were not immediately made public.
“They seemed like a pretty happy couple, talking, walking hand-in-hand,” neighbor Richard Schultz told KTLA5.
He told the station the woman was eight-and-a-half months pregnant, and they held a baby shower on the Fourth of July.
Law enforcement sources also told NBC4 the woman was pregnant.
