A 35-year-old man was shot to death early Friday in the Vermont Vista area of South Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred at around 12:30 a.m. at Vermont Avenue and 102nd Street, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, she said. His name was not released pending notification of relatives.
Suspect information was not immediately available.
