A fire damaged a duplex in the Central-Alameda area of Los Angeles Thursday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 1800 block of East 42nd Street about 8 a.m. extinguished the flames in about 25 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
