A deputy-involved shooting in the Lake Forest area Thursday left a man hospitalized, authorities said.
The shooting occurred early Thursday morning near Calle Vecindad and Paseo Vereda, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
“An adult male subject has been transported to a local area hospital and this is an isolated incident,” a sheriff’s statement said.
The nature of the man’s injury was not immediately clear.
