An attic fire in a single-story house in Sunland was knocked down in 15 minutes Monday evening with no injuries reported.
The fire was reported at approximately 7:40 p.m. Monday in the 10300 block of Newhome Avenue, about a quarter-mile south of Foothill Boulevard, according to Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
There was visible smoke show from the roof of the house upon the firefighters’ arrival, Lantz said
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
