A shooting involving one or more deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department occurred in Bellflower Sunday, authorities said.
The shooting occurred Sunday in the 9500 block of Maplewood Street, near Rosecrans and Clark avenues, according to the department’s Melissa Jamison.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene, Jenison said.
No further details regarding the shooting were immediately available.
