The Riverside Police Department arrested 24 people for operating an unlicensed vehicle or while driving with a suspended or revoked license during a drivers license check/DUI operation Saturday in Riverside.
The checkpoint was held between 8 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday at Market and Third streets, said Riverside Police Department Sgt. James Elliott.
A total of 986 vehicles were screened, police said.
