A 40-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore Sunday, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced.
The crash was reported around 3:40 a.m. Sunday in the area of Third Street and Diana Lane, where deputies found the driver of the car trapped inside.
Cal Fire personnel extricated him and provided medical aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was later identified as Danial Buckmaster of Lake Elsinore.
