A person was killed Sunday during a single-vehicle crash involving an SUV on a freeway conversion road in Santa Ana, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 4:30 a.m. on a road connecting the southbound Orange (57) Freeway to the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The vehicle involved in the crash was described as a white Chevrolet Trailblazer.
A representative from the Orange County coroner’s office was called to the scene at 4:44 a.m. and the roadway was cleared at 7:52 a.m., the CHP said.
There was no other immediate information.
