After tabloid sites connected the dots, NBC’s “Today” show Tuesday is expected to close the circle with Charlie Sheen — expected to make a “personal announcement” that he’s been diagnosed as HIV positive.

NBC announced Monday that Matt Lauer would interview Sheen, who turned 50 in September, and TMZ reported that the actor with a history of womanizing would reveal he has the AIDS-causing virus.
Social media was mixed between snark and sympathy.
