The checkpoint was conducted from 8 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of University and Ottawa Avenues.

Three people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, 29 people were arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle unlicensed or while their license was suspended or revoked and two others were arrested for outstanding felony warrants, Elliot said.
