Authorities Wednesday were seeking the public’s help in locating a 39-year-old man suspected of theft by false pretenses and criminal conspiracy in Santa Ana.
Frank Sanchez, posed as an advisor with foreclosure attorneys, and targeted a homeowner whose property was in foreclosure, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
He created fake contracts and falsely promised to stop the foreclosure and over several months, scammed the victim out of $22,125, according to the SAPD.
Sanchez was described as 5-feet, 8-inches tall, about 230 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
