Authorities Wednesday were investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Desert Hot Springs.
The crash was reported at about 10 p.m. Tuesday on Palm Drive, according to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
Arriving officers found a man, whose identity was not revealed, in the roadway suffering from serious injuries, police said. He was taken to a hospital in “critical but stable condition.”
The vehicle fled the scene and remained at large. No description of the vehicle or the suspect were available.
