A man was shot in downtown Los Angeles Monday and three suspects were seen leaving the area on foot, authorities said.
Police received a call at 12:18 p.m. Monday from a man who reported that he had been shot in the area of Seventh and San Julian streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where his condition was not immediately clear.
Three suspects were seen leaving the scene on foot, police said.
An officer at the department’s Media Relations Division said it was “too soon to tell” if the shooting was related to Monday’s demonstration against President Donald Trump, which was ongoing at the time of the shooting.
