Authorities Friday asked for the public’s help finding a 14-year-old boy who wandered away from his Jurupa Valley home and didn’t return, without any word on his whereabouts.
Leonardo Aleman was last seen Thursday near the intersection of Marie Drive and 29th Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The agency said that Leonardo walked away from the location, heading southeast toward Rubidoux Boulevard, less than two blocks from the Pomona (60) Freeway.
The youth didn’t tell anyone specifically where he was going or why.
Leonardo is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was shirtless and barefoot, wearing only dark gray shorts when he left home.
Anyone with information was urged to contact sheriff’s dispatch at 800-950-2444.
