A who died when the car he was in struck a parked vehicle in downtown Los Angeles was identified Monday.
According to police and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, German Garcia, 20, was a passenger in the vehicle that crashed at about 11:50 a.m. Sunday at Alameda and Bay streets.
Police said the vehicle was being driven north on Alameda when it struck a parked vehicle.
Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. It was unclear if anyone was in the parked vehicle.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
