A 38-year-old man who was fatally shot in Compton was identified Tuesday.
The shooting occurred around 1:50 p.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of North Long Beach Boulevard, near East Tucker Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by L.A. County Fire Department paramedics. He was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner as Arnold Rubio.
No information about a suspect or possible motive was immediately available.
