A 32-year-old man was stabbed in Palm Springs Saturday and two suspects were later arrested, authorities said.

Officers responded to the 200 block of South Palm Canyon Drive at about 1:50 a.m. Saturday to a report of an altercation, according to the Palm Springs Police Department. They found a man who was visiting the area suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was rushed to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition, according to police.

Officers identified the stabbing suspects as 21-year-old Jasper Oneal and 28-year-old Roman Pellum.

Oneal was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and Pellum was arrested on suspicion of battery. Both were booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio, police added.
