The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County ticked up one-tenth of a cent Saturday to $4.179, one day after dropping four-tenths of a cent to its lowest amount since June 21, 2021.
The average price is 2.8 cents less than one week ago, 39.8 cents less than one month ago and 10.1 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.194 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped 1.2 cents to $2.836. It is 3 cents less than one week ago, 19 cents less than one month ago and 19.8 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $2.18 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
