A sheriff’s deputy was served a cup of coffee bearing a hand-drawn image of a pig at a Norwalk coffee shop, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported Sunday.
The image of a pig is commonly used to demean law enforcement, according to an LASD statement. The deputy reported the incident to the store manager, who said he would investigate the matter.
Upon learning about the incident, Sheriff Robert Luna contacted a person in the coffee company’s corporate security division to formally raise his concern.
“This action was extremely offensive, inappropriate and unacceptable,” the statement said. “Acts that promote hostility and division toward law enforcement undermine community trust and public safety.”
The name and location of the coffee shop were not disclosed.

the coffee shop employee needs to be fired. it is irrelevant that it was law enforcement. We all have negative things to say about all business and agencies–and also positive things.
the employee was doing a job and decided to be acting like an asshole by drawing a pig.
if it was a swatstika it would be considered and exaggerated as a hate crime.
intention of the person is what determines what actually transpired.
maybe just trying to be a jokester. it does not matter- it was unprofessional and the employee needs to be fired–Bye bye.
