A 20-year-old woman was rescued Monday after becoming lost during a hike in Pacific Palisades.
Firefighters responded shortly before 7:15 p.m. Monday to the 400 block of Surfview Drive, near the Getty Villa, to reports of a lost hiker, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.
The uninjured woman was rescued and taken to by an LAFD helicopter and driven to her vehicle located at the trailhead, Middleton said.
It remains unclear how the woman managed to get lost while hiking.
No injuries were reported.
