One person was arrested after their vehicle exited the Ventura (101) Freeway in Encino and crashed, the California Highway Patrol reported Saturday.
CHP officers were called at 1:17 a.m. Saturday to the southbound 101 freeway and Balboa Boulevard where they found two victims, one of whom was trapped inside the vehicle, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department crews responded to the scene and help to free the victim.
The driver was arrested at the scene, Garcia said. The charges were not specified.
The CHP has closed the slow lane of the freeway as crews worked to clear the scene.
