Firefighters put out a non-injury automobile fire Thursday morning in a carport in Palms.
No one was injured in the fire, which was reported at about 11:15 a.m. Thursday in the 3500 block of Motor Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and will remain on scene for overhaul of the fire damage,” LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said. “Gas has been shut off to a broken line, with the gas company en route.”
