A fire broke out Wednesday at a two-story, single-family home in West Los Angeles, but no one was injured.
The fire was reported at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at 10548 W. Almayo Ave., near Pico Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The first arriving units went to work after encountering smoke coming from a second-floor room, LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said.
A total of 40 firefighters responded and put the fire out in 31 minutes, she said.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately determined.
