A registered sex offender was charged Tuesday with sexually assaulting a girl in Anaheim.
Shane Patrick Laszlo was charged with three counts of lewd acts on a child 14 or 15, three counts of statutory rape, and three counts of oral copulation of a victim younger than 16, all felonies.
Laszlo did not enter a plea at his arraignment Tuesday and the hearing was rescheduled for July 21 in the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
Laszlo pleaded guilty June 16, 2022, to a felony count of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14.
Laszlo was sentenced to 364 days in jail, or time served, and was placed on three years of formal probation, but he violated the terms of his release with the use of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 60 days in jail in July 2023.
Laszlo, who completed probation June 15, was accused of attacking the victim in the new case in March, according to court records.
In the prior case, Laszlo molested a family member when she was 6 years old in Anaheim, according to the probation violation petition.
