Firefighters Wednesday morning quickly knocked down a vehicle fire at a park in Compton, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 2:17 a.m. to Kelly Park, 2319 E. Caldwell Ave., quickly put out the vehicle fire, according to a Compton Fire Department dispatcher.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the vehicle fire was under investigation.
The car fire was located in the middle of a basketball court, according to a source at the scene.
