There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery and the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is expected to grow to $80 million.
One ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold in New York and is worth $1 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.
One Match 5 Winners Power Play ticket were sold in South Carolina, and is worth $2 million.
The numbers drawn tonight were 5, 16, 31, 46, 50 and the Powerball number was 18. The estimated jackpot was $70 million.
The drawing was the fourth since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 175,223,510, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 31.85.
The Powerball game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
