Deputies were called to an “assault with a deadly weapon” call and arrived to find the three men suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso, said Deputy Caroline Rodriguez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

“Deputies have identified potential witnesses who witnessed the shooting,” Rodriguez said.

One victim was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The second and third victims were transported to a local hospital. They were listed in fair condition and are expected to survive, she said.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives asked anyone with information regarding the shooting attack to call them at (323) 890-5500.
