In one of the first murders of the new year in Los Angeles, a man was stabbed to death early Sunday in the Cypress Park area of Los Angeles and two killers were being hunted by authorities.
The bloody attack was reported at 2:18 a.m. at 2627 Jeffries Ave., said Sgt. Teresa Anderson of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Station.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Anderson said.
Two suspects were at large, she said. No further details were yet available about the victim, his killers or any possible motive.
It wasn’t known if the killing was the first one in the city after midnight.
