A fire burned less than two acres of brush in Montecito Heights before firefighters on the ground and in the air knocked it down.
No one was injured and no structures were threatened by the fire, which was reported Monday night in the 1000 block of Montecito Drive, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Fifty-seven firefighters and a water-dropping helicopter were deployed and the fire was knocked down in 42 minutes, Humphrey said.
