A 7-Eleven store in Cypress was held up at gunpoint Wednesday morning and authorities are looking into the possibility that the same suspect robbed a 7-Eleven in Anaheim.
The robbery in Cypress was reported around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Valley View Street and Orange Avenue, according to reports from the scene.
The clerk told reporters the masked man took about $400 in cash before fleeing the store. No injuries were reported.
Sometime later, a suspect matching the description of the suspect in the first robbery held up a 7-Eleven in the area of Ball Road and Gilbert Street in Anaheim, according to reports from the scene.
Authorities are investigating to see if the two robberies are related
