A commercial truck with a broken axle blocked two lanes of traffic Tuesday morning on the southbound San Diego (5) Freeway at Bake Parkway in Irvine and a SigAlert has been issued until 7:30 a.m.
California Highway Patrol officers were called to the scene about 4:20 a.m. and discovered the truck with the broken axle, according to Officer Monica Posada.
The carpool and number one lanes will be closed until at least 7:30 a.m., Posada said.
No injuries were reported.
