A woman was killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Pacoima and police searched Friday for the driver.
Police responded about 8:30 p.m. Thursday to the 10600 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and located the victim, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman, who was in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart reported.
The suspect vehicle was described as a Toyota Prius, according to ABC7.
