Amtrak is offering a sweetheart of a deal for travelers in February.
As part of a special promotion centered around Valentine’s Day, the rail service is offering a half-price ticket when another is purchased at full price.
The deal is good on the Pacific Surfliner and the San Joaquin Line, including romantic destinations in the wine country of the Central Valley and secluded stops on the Southern California coastline.
Starting Jan. 19 and continuing through Feb. 25, travelers can use the promo code V613 at amtrakcalifornia.com to book a trip for travel Feb. 1-28 and receive the 50 percent “sweetheart deal” off the companion ticket.
There are no blackout dates, but reservations must be made three days prior to travel.
