The decrease comes one day after an 18-day streak of decreases ended when the average price was unchanged, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 10 cents less than one week ago, 49.2 cents lower than one month ago and 30.5 cents below what it was one year ago.
A 19-day streak of decreases to the Orange County average price ended today when it rose 1.5 cents to $3.493. The Orange County average price had fallen 35.7 cents during the streak to its lowest amount since April 26.
The Orange County average price is 6.8 cents less than one week ago, 49.6 cents lower than one month ago and 30.7 cents below what it was one year ago.
