County gas prices resumed dropping Saturday, one day after a 17-day streak of decreases ended when prices remained unchanged on Friday.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dipped by a half percent Saturday and is now $2.732.
The average price is 4.8 cents less than one week ago, 9.8 cents lower than one month ago and 6.6 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped for the 22nd consecutive day, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $2.715.
The Orange County average price is 4.9 cents less than one week ago, 10.1 cents lower than one month ago and 4.5 cents below what it was one year ago.
