The William, Jeff and Jennifer Gross Family Foundation has given to a variety of nonprofits, such as the Wilcox Health Foundation of Kauai, Hawaii, and Doctors Without Borders in New York City.
The foundation’s donations focused on issues such as sustainable development, healthcare and global hunger.
Local causes receiving funding from the Gross foundation include Children’s Hospital of Orange County, the Anaheim Community Foundation, the Laguna Beach Community Clinic, the Laguna Food Pantry, the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach and the Laguna Beach Senior Center.
“I am pleased to work with Jennifer and Jeff and to identify and support the meaningful and important work of organizations that benefit local and global communities,” said Gross, co-founder of the Newport Beach-based global investment management firm. “While I previously measured success by business accomplishments, success is now a function of what we can do to benefit and help others around the world.”
Gross said he also has plans to donate all profits from his stamp collection.
